I was selected as a recipient of the SPIRIT2 Award 2026 at Kyoto University. The SPIRIT2 program is an internal research funding initiative designed to promote the creation of emerging academic fields and support highly original research ideas across disciplines. The award supports exploratory research that has the potential to develop into internationally significant new research areas.
The project title is “Elucidation and control of parasitic plant parasitism using chemical genetic approaches”. I am delighted to restart my research in plant chemical biology together with an excellent collaborator, Dr. Anuphon Laohavisit.
